Dim turn signal.....on my 1975 carrera

Had a problem with my turn signals lately, Came home from a long trip and the right side turn signals were out as well as the radio. Checked the bulbs and the right rear was burned out, fixed it, but now the front right is dim on the turn/flashing mode but bright on the parking light mode????

I changed out the turn relay as well with a new unit and still dim

could it be the light housing? Also, the fuse seems to be OK behind the radio, but no power

thanks in advance

This is as much a bump for you as anything else. Until someone else chimes in, make sure the bulb is the correct one, and check that all connections, incl ground and power wires and the socket are clean and tight.

Paulporsche,

Thanks for the thread, I was begining to feel like the Maytag repairman

But, I think I found my problem. The ground is bad at the housing. As far as the radio, I think it just went Kaput....

Garage
Dim = bad ground, at least 99% of the time.

First thing I did when I got my car was check all the grounds. It's amazing how well things work when they are grounded.
I had the same problem and Techweenie is spot on
