Since there is a smaller concentration of early cars in the South-Central US compared with the golden state we have to combine forces...
Announcing: The Langehaube Fossilbrennstofffest 2005 This is a joint meeting of the early longhoods sponsored equally by the Early 911S Regsitry and the 912 Registry. Our Longhood Fossil Fuel Fest will take place the weekend of May 20th, 2005 in Midland, TX. This should be centrally located to bring in drivers from TX, NM, OK, CO and possibly a few other states. We hope that you can all come join in the fun. Here are some approximate distances. Nearby Metropolitan Cities: Lubbock; 116 miles Amarillo; 235 miles Fort Worth; 300 miles El Paso; 300 miles Austin; 315 miles Dallas; 330 miles San Antonio; 330 miles Albuquerque, NM; 419 miles Houston; 478 miles Denver; 690 miles Los Angeles; 1100 miles Our meeting will include tours of the Coommemorative Air Force Museum which has the only flying B29. We will also visit the Petroleum Museum which houses the Jim Chapparel collection. A few more details can be found at the following link. Online registration is currently being setup.
