CV joint sizing
Hi, I'm trying to match up 944 driveshafts to a 1968 901 gearbox.
The output flanges on the 901 measure around a 76 pcd x 6 bolts and up to 90mm outer dia. Does anyone have one of these joints that could measure the diameter and number of splines on the drive shaft, as I wondering if the 911 cv will fit on the 944 driveshafts I have. If this is not an option, I will have to change the output flanges on the gearbox to match the 944 CV's which are 100mm dia and 86 pcd x 6 bolts. Does anyone know what year/model output flanges I would need? ![]() Last edited by nealm27; 02-11-2005 at 04:06 AM.. |

Why not post this question in the 944 tech forum? You may have better results...
