got a 77'911 . turned on the wipers one day and they won't stop.had to disconnect from the fuse box. i'm not too electrically minded. seeking help to remedy. thanks!!

Not sure if this is your problem but thanks to suggestions on the board I took the mechanism apart for the wiper stalk and you can see there are some contacts that start/stop and mine were bent. In my case the wipers would just stop at whatever point they were across their arc and not return to the normal stopped position. It's easier to see what's not working when you just take the mechanism apart.
