Bentley Manual availability thru' Pelican
To avoid hi-jacking bagpiper47's thread, I am making an enquiry of my own re: manuals. I am unable to find the Bentley (on Pelican) that includes the 1970 model year. I have a copy of Wayne's book, 101 Projects. Is the Bentley manual which covers these earlier years, out of print? Any help out there? Thanks in advance.

Brian,
The only Bentley manuals that I am aware of are the 1978-1983 SC models followed by the Carrera 1984 -1989. Haynes has a fairly good manual that covers the 1965-1989 which may be some good help for you (and is pretty cheap). The factory microfiche has a bit more information but is not quite as accessible. I hope this helps at least a little bit...

There is no Bentley available for your car. Get the Haynes manual, it's actually pretty good for the early cars.
Next up are the factory manuals which are 10x as much and probably worth it if you will be doing big projects.

I was unaware Bentley didn't cover the earlier models. I have 'Wayne's & Haynes' so I should be OK. Once again, Thanks Cheers Brian
