Balancing wheels - remove center cap?

To have my sc targa's wheels high speed balanced, do I have to remove the center caps? And if so, is there any risk to damaging them in the process and how do you do it? Thanx

They need to remove the to put them on the balancing machine. Remove them by tapping them out from the backside. Do not "pull" them out from the front with your fingers. The caps are two pieces sort of rivited together and pulling the cap will pull the pieces apart. BTDT
