PacWest R Gruppe Dinner & Upcoming Events
WOW.....we had 17 people show up at our PacWest R Gruppe dinner last night in Mercer Island, WA, including 5 prospective new members! In the parking lot were several cool cars including a '73 911RS Lightweight and a GT3.
What a great turn out - Thanks to Eric Smith for arranging the meeting spot and to everyone who showed up! ALSO: Don't forget the next event we will be attending: Saturday March 5th at 10AM Suspension Tech Session with Chuck Moreland of Elephant Racing Redmond European 18014 Redmond Way Redmond, WA 98052 (425)376-2655 Chuck will be showing us all the latest suspension trick parts from Elephant Racing! Coffee and Donuts will be served, so come early. Other upcoming PNW events: May 15th - Issaquah XXX Drive-In Porsche Gathering See you there,

Marc, both upcoming events listed are open to anyone with a Porsche.
At last night's dinner Dane invited the R Gruppe to attend his 2nd Saturday of the month event at the Issaquah XXX in May. I assume this is on Saturday the 14th or is it on the 15th?? Not an R Gruppe event for sure, but a great chance for us to meet you guys.

Cool, I'm going to try to make both events. Sorry I missed dinner...completely slipped my mind. Was the GT3 Speed Yellow by chance?

The 15th is a all day Sunday day event...in place of the swap meet of last year. No offical PCA involvement. RGruppe will be there along with the monthly XXX regulars.
I am working on getting all the local shops involved and may be bringing along some race cars for show and tell....anyone listening out there? Last edited by rdane; 02-17-2005 at 07:49 AM.. |

I think there may be some confusion - is the Issaquah XXX event on Saturday the 14th or on Sunday the 15th in the month of May?
