Since I did buy the bushings from PP in January (along with CV boots, valve cover kit, clutch cable, Swepo etc) and since PP does not sell used items, I am not sure I see this as an issue.

If I had botched #2, I would have bought a new one from PP.

I agree with rattlsnak, think of it as an opportunity to replace it with the WEVO precision coupler (from our host). It is better, IMO.

Did ou go with the round hole bushings? they seem to increase the feedback a little

The bushings PP sent are the round hole. I have not had the chance to drive the car and still need to do some minor adjustments but the feel just sitting in the garage is much tighter.
