What is Curb Weight?

The book says my 86 curb weight is 2756 is this empty or with fuel, oil, washer fluid, etc? It gives me a gross of 3417

With fuel 140, oil 22 etc that only gives me about 490 for riders, I ask because yesterday I had 600 lbs of riders and It didnt feel that bad?

Craig

I've seen different definitions. I believe 'Curb Weight' is supposed to include all fluids, including a full tank of gas, but no passengers. The number given is for an optionless car. This gets confusing, in that Porsche sometimes exported to some countries (like the U.S.) with all of the cars equipped with some (mandatory) options.
