info about my cams timing ?
Hello
I did this my cam timing like the Wayne book and the final result on the left is 4.41 mm and the right is 4.46 mm ZI on the crank. my intake valve overlap is 4.2-4.6 (4.3) page 207 . Do you this I am OK ? If it must be perfect on 4.3? Thanks for your help !

Those numbers look very good to me.
Vary rarely have I managed to get it absolutely perfect for both sides. However what I try to do is get the max lift as close together as possible. This seems to help the motor run smoother. Thus if I have a choice of 4.3mm on one side and 4.4mm on the other, or the choice of 4.2mm on both sides, I would choose 4.2mm. Good luck with your cam timing. David Duffield |
