Whats your Pcar story
It all started with the family, back in 82, when my father bought her, before he sold his 1969 912, which he had, and of which I grew up in, since 73.
![]() Started coming together Finished Product : ![]() Fast forward to 2002, when my father passes away from cancer, I in turn, sadly inherit her. She looked the same when I got her as she did in the above "Finished Product" picture. After getting over the fear of working on her, I decided to take charge, and change her, to my view on how she should look. First on the list, headlight upgrade from factory candle lighting, to high powered, retna burning H4's(80/100). Next up were little things, such as replacing the missing Knee pads, replacing all of the weathered knobs on the dash, heater knobs between the seats, etc. Installed L.E.D's for the gauges.Replaced a worn heat socket, and heater hose . The dash, seats, are flawless, carpet could use a cleaning on the drivers side, but not bad. The car was well taken care, as it still is now that she's mine. I know some of this might be little easy things, but they were soooo satisfying, I just had to share. Here a pick of the H4's: The next project on the to do list was to add these: ![]() To these: ![]() And banda bing, the next project done:New polished 16x6 & 16x7 running Potenza SO3's ![]() ![]() I'll have much better picks once the rain goes away. I didnt get her home till tonight, so it was to dark to get great pics. But I just had to share my story, because it makes me feel so giddy inside, and makes me proud to be allowed to be a Porsche owner.
