Need head stud collet
I've managed to obtain the Snap-on tool called for in Wayne's book for the removal of head studs (CG500) but not the necessary collet (CG500 - 43, M10 - 1.5). Does anyone have one they'd sell me or know where I can buy one. Snap-on doesn't sell to customers on line.

Your local Snap-On guy will order it for you. You might also want the non-threaded, gripping collet. It will destroy what you use it one, but you are replacing the studs anyway. Also, Sears sells a set that some of the guys here like.

Since when wouldn't Snap On do online sales? I bought my stud remover from them online. I just checked and they still have catalog sales.

Thanks Kurt. The registration on the Snap On site asked for my business name which I thought meant I had to have one to order. I went back to the site and became Holgate Motor Sports then ordered what I needed. I appreciate your help.
