Nice pics, good to see Cris running around with his hot rod.
Question, where did you get your Oscar light covers. Do you use them for lens protection or are they required by law? thanks. |

great cars
however, is it me or it is everyone state-side getting a little spot light obsessed... i had fog/driving lights on my old 88 and my 930 has them now - but i don't think i've ever switched them on

Which light cover are you referring too?
Silver car (mine) and the orange car (my brothers) black cibie covers are actually KC light covers that have been fixed up to fit those cibie lights. Used for lens protection the yellow 911 (friends car) with cibie covers, his fog lights came with it. that drive was posted on craigslist and I posted it as well on this board a week ago. It was a short drive about 20 miles through windy roads that lead to tilden park. It was more of a social get together event. Last edited by jtkkz; 01-17-2005 at 10:15 AM.. |

What a cool collection of period cars. It would be great just spending a day driving each one, getting the unique feel and idiosyncrasies of each.

jtkkz,
which KC covers fit? Did you just trim the bottom out? Are they elastic or velcro closures? I am looking for some similar covers for my hood lights.

My brother had it done and sewd a elastic end to it, so it closes tight around the cibie's.
I am not sure what size KC covers those are. I have driven my friends yellow 73 MFI with a 2.9 modified motor 250HP pretty quick, I have seen him get sideways when shifting hard into second. Really fun car to drive, it is equipped with boxter brakes all the way around and suspension upgrades. |

I'm getting a little tired of the jerks in California posting photos with guys in short sleeve shirts in January. It's too cold here to drive the car and too cold to be in the garage wrenching on it. ![]() I am of course jealous. ![]()

There is someone here on this PP board who makes and sells them, his name is Mike.
You can also get them through www.porschedecals.com and www.gt-racing.com Hope this helps |

The tangerine / orange '70 911T is my brothers.
The signal yellow car is owned by a fellow rgruppe member and a close friend (Kirk) . It is a very nice car with a modified 2.9 MFI motor well over 200+HP Boxster brakes on all 4 corners I have driven it, really fun car to drive. |

It is a 1973 MFI 911T Original color
He took the original motor and bored it out to a 2.9 w/mahle pistons He will never sell that car, I have offered to buy it off him many times, but he will never sell it. I believe he bought that car from the original owner many many years ago. |
