Talking 911 to 933 wiper conversion - anyone?

I have updated the body of my car to 993 ish body parts but my wiper loaction is still the old wide spacing between wipers.

The 993's have the wipers much more closer together than the older 911 cars.

Has anyone done this conversion?

Cut out the 911 wiper mount sheet metal and graft in a 993 wiper mount and motors??

Anyone have a cut up 993 with this sheet metal for sale??

It's odd you should mention this...

When this style of wiper came out ..it was mentioned that it had much better coverage..but the time interval between successive "sweeps" was longer and overall didn't work as well as the older system.

Why not a big honkin' single wiper in the center ??

If you want to look just like a 993 then why not just get a 993?

The 964 arms should work and are the official replacement for earlier years I believe. The single arm idea sounds pretty neat. Find which cars use this system and do a trick mount.

mid 90's E class benzos use a single blade. Very big, very trick, the wiper arm oscillates up and down from its axis as it moves back and forth across the windscreen. Dont think you would want to put that on a pcar, plus the base is a big honking ugly cowl piece. Single wiper is cool, just park it in the middle of the window when it is off.

Maybe a Jag sedan piece ( single wiper) that doesn't use a center-planetary gearbox to extend/retract like the Benz design....hmmm..
