Andial had it when I was looking for it 8 months ago. Around 16-1700 bucks. Make sure its the German ones. If not, they whine like hell. Good luck, Jeff

Do you have the stock gears? When you get the 8:41 R and P in there, it will feel like you have another 80 HP. 1st gear does suck.

I got 365 at the wheels also. CIS still? What kind of mods?

Are you sure Andial is selling the 8:41? When I worked there, we only sold and installed 8:39's. These were made in Germany by Hor Technologie, who also supplied ring & pinions for VW Motorsport among many others.

The 8:41's were all Italian made at the time and were imported by both Chet Vicentz at Electrodyne (i.e. Racing Dynamics) and Chris Fisher at Powerhaus (the original PH). They did indeed whine like hell.

As a comparison, assuming a 24.64 inch tire and 2.25/1.304/.893/.625 ratios, the 8:39 at 2,900 rpm is 69.8 mph in 4th gear and the 8:41 is at 66.4 mph at the same 2,900 rpm.

Ralph, you are right about the 8:39 ratio. I am sorry. They did carry the 8:41 gear set.

Difference of 5 mph between the 2. What do you think Ralph? I went with many sleepless nights and couldn't decide and finally went with the lower ratio. It's a street car.

Well assuming the 1-4 ratios I listed in the previous post and a 24.68" inch tire (245/45/16), with the 8:39 (4.875) ring & pinion the speeds at 6,800 rpm would be:

45.52 mph
78.55 mph
114.70 mph
163.88 mph
