engine back in, wont start...
Hi,
I got the engine back in the car, it cranks fine, but does not start. Discovered that there is no spark. I tested the coil for resistance and it seems fine. The CDI box does not make the usual whining sound, how do i test this thing? thanks

Before you check your CDI box, go over every little thing that connects to the engine. I had the same problem before. Mine would just turn over but wouldnt start. I thought it was the electrical too, so I started replacing things and then I found out that the flywheel sensor wasnt screwed in tight enough. Started right up. I felt really dumb after that. So now I check EVERYTHING twice or even three times.

Thanks.
You're right about checking everything. Turns out I did not plug in the CDI. The engine picks up now for 2 seconds, but backfires and stalls. I will top post after searching the forums. Thanks Nikita
