15" to 18" Wheels - Baby's got big shoes! Pix

What a dramatic difference this has made. The car was instantly modernized. Jury is still out on if they'll stay or not, I really wanted 17s. Whaddaya think?

I think it looks great but the ride height looks off to me for some reason-a bit high. Did something else change?

The ride hight did not change, the suspension takes a day to settle after I have it up in the air.

Here is a 3/4 pic:

I didn't sign up for Barber. A few weeks ago we did a DE at Talladega, the first one with the turbo motor. I've got a LOT to learn with this beasty before I will feel confident to tackle a technical track such as Barber. The new tires should help. They seem to grip much better than the old Yokos.

Looks great! With the updates to your car, the 15" fuch just wern't cutting it. The 18's look more in tune with the 965 updates on your car. Well done, it is a great "finishing touch", even though we are never REALLY finished messing with these 911, now are we?

Those wheels look great on your car!

Fuchs are great, but don't look right, IMO, on the 90+ bodied cars.

great mod Rarly. dont know if the fronts perhaps need spacing out a bit or if its just the angle of the pic? and the height thing too, but if you reckon its gonna settle then that will help lots
cool car though

If the weather is good you should try to make it down just to show off your ride. I know plenty of us would enjoy checking it out and meeting you also. If you haven't even had a ride around Barber, I am confident that can be worked out (and I don't mean a lunchtime track tour)!

Looks great. I agree, the Fuchs don't look right with the C2 bodywork. I've got heavy fake C2 wheels now and I'm trying to decide on bigger 17's or 18's. I'm leaning toward 17's with 255/315 tires. I guess I should finish my engine project before I start talking about new wheels.

I like both of them on your car and I usually prefer Fuchs, but the 18" look great on your car!!
