993 brakes on an SC

I have done a search, read all the posts, but would appreciate some info from folks who have installed the 993 brakes on their SC. What rotors did you use, what type adapters, in general how it went and what would you do differently. I understand it doesnt cost much more to just buy the Brembos but what fun would that be.

Thanks for your time and your help

Thom

Well you have to buy parts from someone right?

The hard parts are the front caliper adapters and rotors. Most after market suppliers have equivalent parts in this area, the rotors are usually Coleman or Willwood which work ok especially on a light car but aren't quite up to Brembo standards, the rear is totally diy, stock 930 309x28s, fill and redrill the caliper mounts, hog out the caliper throats unless some 965 calipers can be obtained.

Steve Weiner does

Rennsport Systems

Don't get me wrong the newest Willwood rotors are a lot better than they used to be and fairly inexpensive.
