Fuchs size 1984

Can anyone tell me what size stock Fuchs rims would have been put on the front of a 1984 Carrera? I need to replace one of mine. I thought it was 16X7. But after trying to measure I'm not sure. How would I measure the width with the tire on? Thanks

Trying to measure it isn't really that helpful. The size is stamped on the backside and gives you the definitive answer.
