Oil breather hoses
I need to replace the 2 breather hoses from the front of the engine to the oil tank, Can this be dune with the motor still in the car? the car is 1986 Carrera.

I could not get sufficient torque on the hose clamp at the breather cover to break it loose. I am sure have done this successfully but a partial engine drop would make this alot easier.

It is doable without an engine drop. You will probably need to remove air filter and the MAF sensor. Maybe even the left side fan to get more elbow room.
