Rubbing Alcohol for cleaining primer?

Hi,
I think someone had replied to me in the past that they wash down their car (in primer) with water and then rubbing alcohol before painting. Just looking for a second opinion before I do. The primer is veriprime topped with 2K filler primer. I washed with water this morning and left out today to dry.

Incase your wondering where I am at, I have accepted the car prep where it stands, could be better but I think it should come out ok. Weather permitting, I hope to paint tomorrow. I have a duck tail coming on Monday.

Thanks,
David

I've never used rubbing alcohol, but I suppose it would work. I always use Prepsol which is a wax and grease remover.
