Pre - 1974 911 Values Go Up!
I received my issue of Excellence yesterday and they featured the updated values of the pre-1974 models. I was surprised to see that the 1973T valued for an excellent example in 2003 @ 12.2K increased to 16.6K for 2004. WOW, what happened here?!
I know that the issue of what is fair on price relative to supply, demand, condition, etc,. can be debated here forever, but I do trust the experience that Excellence has provided when being one of the many contributors in providing input on the fair market value of these cars. It only makes sense that these cars will continue to increase in value just like the 356, as the years and newer models float by. Regards Bob 73.5T - Sepia of course |

Bob - In my opinion, Excellence had been low on the early cars for the past few years and have now "caught on".....Another reason is the status of the US dollar. Our cars are in demand in Europe and the UK. Over there, either the salt air of the UK or lack of garages contributed to the rust of the early cars over there. Makes me enjoy my 73.5 T even more.....

No way would I sell my 1973.5T for $16,600. But with the 3.2 and carerra flares, it's similar to the backdated cars in the separate article about AutoFarm. If they're selling for 75,000, makes my car that much more of a bargain.
Maybe I should pick up another long hood or two. |
