Hot Tanking HXers?
I bought some used heat exchangers for my car a few months ago but haven't put them on yet.
Has anyine ever hot tanked their heat exchangers to clen the old oil out of them? The car these were on looked like quite a leaker and I figure there's no sense stinking up my interior unnessicarily.

I do it all the time on 2 stroke motocycle exhausts. Works GREAT! There isn't a 911 out there that has more caked crap in/on it than a Kawasaki Triple's exhaust! Any radiator shop should be happy to help and many times won't even charge you in the hopes the good will may bring them future business. Just don't tell them you car is air-cooled!
