Engine # 64T00001 on is listed for a 96 993 (aug 95 to July 96) and also for a 97 993 (Aug 96 to July 97)....were there any differences between the two years........

engine #s don't go that low
64T 00501 - 20000 is an M64/23 US/CDN 993 my '96 manual trns
64T 50501 - 60000 is an M64/24 US/CDN 993 my '96 tip trns

the electrics are the major diff between US '96 and '97

the ROW of course are OBD1 while any of the '96 up US are OBD2
