Can you give us more details?

When you say "won't start", do you mean it turns over but will not fire up? Or, like a situation I just fixed, all the electrical comes on but the engine will not even turn over.

In my case it ended up being a bad starter solenoid, so I replaced the entire starter/solenoid assembly. It turns over and starts quickly, whenever I turn the key now.

Sometime my 87 craking fine but not fire, some time the car just die in the middle of the road. I so tired with the problem and have the shop check out, they said the ECU is defect and the new box is $1400

I took out the box, clean the ECU connectors and resolder all the solder joins, and the problem seem go way, and car running fine ever since

Don't know is the same problem as you car , but give it' worth a try.

Reference sensors. Check them then check the gap.
