CIS Fuel Distributor ID?

Can anybody tell me what year / engine size a fuel distributor with the model number:

BOSCH
0_438_ 100_077 ( _ = blanks all jammed together 0438100077)


is from?

I copy this info from another thread:

1983 USA model 911SC 3.0 w/case # 930/16

Intake runners = #911 110 169 2R (small)
Fuel Distributor = Bosch #0 438 100 077
port size = Intake 34mm, Exhaust 35mm
CR = 9.3:1

Darryl,

According to Special T Auto's website, the 077 fuel distributor was used on 911 SCs from 8-79 to 8-83. Their website has a lot of information about various fuel distributors and warm up regulators. Take a look here:

Thanks for the replies! Ok, I'll admit that I'm search string challenged... when I tried again on "100 077" I found all kind of past threads and have been learning much from the links.

My engine in my '74 is from an '80 SC (640XXXX serial number) so it looks like the fuel distributor is correct for the engine. I'm trying to figure out how it was "rigged" to work without an oxygen sensor and computer control. It still uses a hand throttle and the auxiliary air valve, and the auxiliary air regulator are not connected.
