Getting close (Neat toys and pieces)

Hey everyone,

Just some new toys and pics on the way to the completion of my project.

Racepak Dash and DAS mounted on a carbon instrument panel cover.

Carbon fiber hood and decklid supports from Seine Systems since the stock shocks lifted the carbon hood and decklid.

Freshly fabricated aluminum water tank I built for the water cooling system that circulates through the ball bearing cores of the turbos. This was made to fit under the drivers side rear bucket seat. The Meziere water pump is mounted to the tank.

Pic of the cardboard water tank mock up just for kicks.

Setrab cooler for the system.

Aluminum hard lines for the turbo oil cooling system as well as the new self priming scavenge pump (manufacturer of the previous pump suddenly had mixed opinions on it being able to pull or not).

A good portion of the cooling system will be done with hard aluminum lines. I must say the process of bending and fitting the lines is one of the more annoying things i've done during this project.

I'll post a few more pics toward the middle of the week.

Sweet as always Princeton, thanks for sharing.

So two pumps for the turbo water cooling system? How do you go about making sure that both turbos get equal water, or is everything plumbed symetrically?

Thanks Mike.
One pump mounted to the water tank is for the water cooling. The other pump mounted in the rear is the oil scavenge pump. The ball bearing cores on the turbos are both water and oil cooled.
I have billet Ys to split the water and oil. Also the turbos will be a restriction to the flow so there should more than enough available on either side.

How much longer do you think before you'll be able to fire it up?
