An uneducated eye (no one on this board) will have trouble telling a 997 from a 993. I can imagine someone admiring a 993 and asking Is that new?

Those cars just look " right " to me maybe Porsche is back on track in the design dept.?

Hate the rear end on the 997, too much like the 996. Other than that, the 997 is a sweet ride!

No question the 997 is a better looking car than the 996. But those grille openings just don't work for me. Too stylized, reminds me of the silly stuff ricers bolt on.
![]() And the sharp edges and angularity fight with the flowing curves of the rest of the car.
