Installing a new door skin? 77 911
I have been wrestling with the passenger side door on my 911 for like over a week now trying to get the bondo just right. I am getting to the point where I am thinking it there might be a better way to go about getting this door nice and straight.
The car side swiped something and as a result the door got pushed in. The previous body guy drilled holes and pulled the dents. I have since welded the hole closed and tried to bondo back to where it was. It just seems like a good half of the whole door needs to be bondoed. As a result, just wondering the work involved with putting on a new door outer skin. Any thoughts, David |

If you're comfortable with slicing and dicing the sheetmetal on your 911, reskinning is really not too hard. Check out some of the posts in the archives or PM me or jhelgesen when you get into it if you have questions. I'd say it is easier than doing a suspension pan.
