newbie asks what mm is 18" turbo twist

Ive got some 18" turbo twist wheels off of a 996 or 993 on my 86 911. I run 2 inch adapters on front, and 3 inch on the rear to get the tires out to fill the wheel well. I run 295/30/18 on the rear, and 225/40/18 on the front. Does anyone know what MM offset these are? The reason I'm asking is I'm looking at another set of wheels to buy, and I dont want to buy another set of adapters for the new ones. I see all types of offsets for aftermarket wheels, 45, 55,63, etc. I would have these new wheels shipped in from the west coast, so I dont want to make any mistakes. Can anyone compute for me what offset I have. I think the fronts are 18-8/1/2 and 18-10/1/2 or 11 on the rear. Thanks for any reply

OK you slantnose have a turbo body so you need a diferent ET, you can see the ET of your wheels just next to air valve and then substract the 2" (50.8mm) front and 3" (76.2mm) rear the resault is your actual ET

Your wheels appear to be 996 18" Turbo Twists. Hollow spokes if they are from a Turbo, solid spoke if they are from a C4S.
Look near the valve stem, the offset in mm, and the width in inches should be marked. If that fails, take a look at the inside of the wheels, the numbers may be there.

My guess is 18x8, 50mm offset Front, 18x11, 45mm offset Rear.

Thanks guys. The wheels I'm looking at are 18x8 and 18x11, with a 50mm front o/s, and a 45mm rear offset. Im stinking they will fit with my adapters. Thanks guys, the MM is right where you said it would be on the wheel. See ya. Strup

50mm offset is typical 993/996 8 inch front wheel spec.
45mm offset is typical 993/996 10 or 11 inch rear spec for the wide body models ( C2S, C4S, Turbo ) .
( The standard 993/996s use a 65mm offset on the rear wheels)
