Removed my fogs--what did you fill holes in with?

My car is black so the holes are no as obvious but I would like to fill them without welding if possible.

Fill with JB Weld (or the like) from any auto parts store. Sand and touch up with paint (paintscratch.com). I haven't done it yet, myself. But others have gotten great results when removed the reap bumper pads. This is on my list of summer projects.

I think I'd also go with the black plastic plugs.

FWIW, I used the black plastic plugs on my bumperette holes courtesy of Lowes ...looks good. But deleting the fogs leaves more than just holes in the front valance. I got oval-like shapes "imprinted" onto the valance from the stem of the foglamp. Perhaps I'm the only one?

Yeah, looking forward to the pics.

Somebody posted a while back that they made brake cooling vents there that came great too.

Regards,

Markus

Yes, that's what I was told when I removed my foglights; just to make brake vents out of the holes. I imagine this would involve widening the holes - three on each side (one large for the light's stem, two smaller for the bolts).

I do like the idea of simply filling them in, though.

How effective can the brake cooling be on a car that only occasionally sees the track?

Send a message via AIM to cactusdtd
Black steel mesh over the holes. Duct the passenger side to the oil cooler and the driver side over the front mounted AC condenser.
