I'm doing my periodic 930 search between 1975 and 1979. Look at this crap.

Huh? Wrong engine and wrong transmission. Sounds like a '75 with a whale tale stuck on the back some ahole's trying to pass off as a 930.

Of course the price gives it away. Basically, this ad is a lie. No pictures or anything are given. There were a 'few' (not sure how many) 930s made in 1975 according to spec books I've seen, but I don't know how many actually made it to the states or even to showrooms anywhere.

Uhhh...maybe it's running on 5 cylinders, so he's adjusted the displacement accordingly and he's counting reverse as one of the gears in the transmission. :>)

Sure it is. MFI could mean Multi-port Fuel Injection (that's GM speak, I think) in his mind?

It's always fun to go haggle on a car that someone thinks they know more about than yourself. There's always that transition of power you feel & see. The once chatty and BS'y seller suddenly becomes less talkative when you continue refute most of his statements/misinformation about the car.
