Bilstein struts raised spindles + gussets done by 911CTS

Guys,
I bought these Bilstein struts from MuffinMan and had them shipped to Clint Smith for modification. The spindles were raised 30mm for my RSR look project. I wanted to lower the car that much but retain the porsche A-arm / strut geometry. My 17" wheel will allow for this height modification.

Clint turned the strut housing raised the spindles, re-welded them and gussetted the spindles, per the original RSR style. He then painted them with a super-hard epoxy - based paint, which matches the original Bilstein green. I'm thrilled!!

He's also building a sweet bump steer kit based on metric heim joints and over-sized components (compared to what's out there).

Clint has also been building some fuchs - centered 3-piece wheels, as well.

Clint is a great guy. Just thought you may want to look him up, if you are doing something similar.

You could email him at iceman8911@yahoo.com OR look him up through 911CTS Pelican member name.

These are the struts:

Doug
