Who knows this Distributor's part number!

I have a 2.2T form 1971 with a Magneti Marelli distibutor. I want to replace it with a Bosch unit, because of the easy available replacements parts.

I saw one with the Bosch partnumber 0 231 159 008. Supposedly came from 2 1970 911T.


Would this fit my '71T? Would the gear be the same as my marelli unit?

Gee; I just entered that part number into the "Search Pelican Parts" field in the upper left corner of this screen and found the answer: "Bosch Distributor, 914-6, 911T (1970-71), New".

I did not know that these partnumbers are also used by PP.
