930 Rev Counter Wiring?

There are four principal wires at the back of the rev counter on an early 930. I believe the two outside ones are 12v+ and Ground. Are the centre two the ones which operate the boost gauge and where do originate from ? Is it possible to connect another electrically operated boost gauge in parallel with these ?
