Clear Turn Lenses...whata ya think?

I thought the TL would look pretty good with an all clear lense front end. Kinda looks"updated". So what do you think?

Oh, sorry....wrong car.

Do you paint the bulbs yellow? Or are they already yellow.

I like the clear look myself, though I'll probably get around to doing it.

Mike,

You got too much free time, how about a consultation on my '66?

Just kidding, that looks really seamless, like it came from the factory.

Mike, the clears look good, I think they'd look even better if you smoked them out a little bit.

can you take some pics of the 912, I just got one and am re-doing the interior. I want to go stock on the inside, or RS carpet the back, after bare metal.

Thanks for the input.

Yellow...Lenses were $80. here's the link. http://www.rennspd.com/P_Detail.asp?PID=590

JYL---bulbs are by Stealth

BigRubber........no competition here, your car is outstanding as is!
As Cramer says, I've got too much time on my hands, (which actually reads, I need a new project).

Herr Cramer, I would be more than glad to consult with you on the '66. Name the time and place. Are you taking it on the Fun Run this Sunday? Will you bring it to the LI gettogether ? If so, you have the vast knowledge of Kurt.

No plans for clear rears, a little too bling.

Roman, sorry the 912 is now residing in the Swiss Alps.

Josh, your car has a sinister look with the smoked lenses, very nice! I was looking for an "updated Carrera look. I guess that's as close as Gruppe B as I'll go.
See ya

Yes, it's the details that make a car stand out. They will be black eventually.

BRJ - I sent them to a guy in Long Island that does the tinted lenses. He did a very nice job. Most of his work is somewhat rice, but I really wanted this look of all black. Smoked lenses
BTW, your car would look bad ass with them.

They sell a spray paint to tint lenses, some auto stores carry it and all Hobby shops carry it to tint windows on RC car bodies. I would do some trails first on some clear plastic or old broken lenses.

I would replace the outer lense with the Euro filler strip and then change it to clear/smoke. but I prefer the stock look like this:

Wow! If Mad Max drove a Porsche, it'd probably be this...
I like "smoked," though unfortunately I think it'd only work on a black car.
