im quite good with cis acually! i have been living with bosch crap for long enough , try ice raing a 84 scirocco! that will make your learn injection by bosch the hard way!!!

I think all those neg refs on CIS come from inheriting someone else's deferred maintenance, vacuum leaking, clogged injectored CIS motor and having to whip it back into shape.
That along with the dreaded exploding airbox, of course...;-)

Do a search on CIS pop off valve, exploding air box, backfire, my engine won't start now. Stuff like that...
