Doing some Pelican shopping...suggestions needed!

I have an early 912, SC motor, want to pick up some things. I'm picking up the Nurburgring seats, in either leather or the hounds tooth depending on availability. I would like to delete the rear seats and do an RS carpet although I do not know if RS carpet will fit. Suggestions? Also, I will need new floor pans, front and rear. Under the battery there is a rust hole. What do I need? I will also be painting the car. What seals are needed to replace? Can I get a complete set? Seat belts would be good I'd like to do 3 pt. What kind? Please help, I'm picking up as much as I can at Pelican, and the rest where it is available. Thanks. Anyone in the area who'd like to help in the restoration of this car are welcome.

K.

As far as the floor pans, the ones Pelican offers are made by Restoration Design. They make pretty much all of the pans you could need. However, I don't think they make a battery box. It should be very easy to fabricate one, though.

I'm not sure about the carpet.

Pelican does have pretty much all of the seals you need. The descriptions should have illustrations. I don't think there's a package deal, though. I'd wait until after you have the car painted to replace any of the seals. I'd also remove the front and rear windows for the paint job, and then replace them with new seals.

Pelican has a buttload of parts, and remember, what you see on the site isn't all they have! Give 'em a call if you need something you don't see.

More experienced people will chime in, I'm sure. I'm pretty much a noob to this myself. I'm glad I found this place!
