Pics of 912 / 997

Here are some pics of the work done so far...
Lots of grinding, torching etc. after the removal of carpet seats and such.

In the same garage as the new Carrera S.

1965-2005 not much difference!

Hope to replace the floors and wondering about the seat with the hole...don't know if I should just weld in a small piece.

The engine ended up with one Zenith, one Weber 40ida.
I'll be removing it and the glass to get the whole thing down to bare metal
and put it all back together with new seals, new interior and the Nurburgring seats in hounds tooth. Will RS carpet work with a SWB '65?
I'd like to get rid of the rear seats.
Thanks for looking...

K.

RS carpet? Nope, in a SWB car, I'd go with that tight square weave stuff...like they used in 356's and really early 912/911 cars...

Hmm... I'd like to have the seats in the rear deleted. Anybody know how I could do it? I'd get the square weave stuff but will it cover everything or would I need to put the seat bottoms on it?

Here's my favorite 912 with 911 engine:
SWB DE Track Ride

I'm pretty sure BobTilton on this board has a rear carpet kit (seat delete) in his swb.
