Source for vintage radios

Besides ebay and the classifieds here and on rennlist, where are some places to find the factory supplied Blaupunkt radios from the mid-80's? I can't stand blingy CD head units in vintage cars.

I didn't find anything at the Hershey Trash Meet. I already know about Midwest Electronics. Anywhere else to look?

Yikes! Those are nice units but very pricey. Any other suggestions?

Aside from Ebay and the classifieds (Pelican, Rennlist, PCA) try swap meets or salvage parts stores...

may be pricey, but are top notch quality, and have been gone through so you know its going to work, and wont break.

Just curious, but what's wrong with Ebay?

Have you checked the German Ebay site?

Tyson Schmidt, Head tech from TRE bought one from a local LA company. They restore old Blaupunks. He bought the period correct one for his 69. You should PM him. I think it was around 300.00

I found quite a few good deals at the Pomona swap meet, years ago. Most sellers are not equipped and/or willing to test the unit, but a $20-40 crapshoot for a Blaupunkt or Becker was usually worth it.

But honestly ebay was the best place I found overall to buy and sell these things. I sold off my small collection a couple years ago when racecar prep $$$ and garage space became priorities.
