Carrera Emblem Placement

How far below the grill does the 'Carrera' script [emblem] need to be placed to be 'correct'? The car is an early '89, G-50.
Thanks,
Drums

The bottom of the script is 7.5" from the bottom edge of the trunk edge, at least on a tailed car.

I placed mine a little below the halfway point from the tail to the bottom on the lid.

There's no right or wrong. choose whatever you like. Measure twice, drill once.

Double sided tape works well...as does using vinyl instead of the cast emblem.

Hey Jerry,
Mine is going on after the tail has been taken off. Did you measure from the top of the grill or the top of the lid?
What part of the 'middle' of Ca.?

I see! From the bottom of the lid to the bottom of the 'Carrera'.
Thanks,
Drums
