Suitable hose replacement?
Anyone have suggestions for a suitable replacement for the oil breather hoses running from the tank to the crankcase breather and airbox? (Each is about 2 feet)
Trying to figure out if there's a reasonable alternative for replacing these 1" lines. Be nice if I could get something locally at one of the industrial hose suppliers. Jim

Go into the hose supplier and ask what they reccomend. I plan to get new oil lines made up for my car at Hose Headquarters here in town one of these days... They made up new oil lines for my landcruiser a few years ago, they looked factory (they resused the original ends) and the entire bill was under $20.

I went into hose headquarters here too. They have a 1" hose which has a suitable lining for oil resistance, but the outer cover is real thick, and it's red. If all else fails, I'll go with it and throw some braided sleeves on them. But I'd like to find something similar to stock.
Guess it depends on how picky I want to be. Jim
