Has anyone bought a used 993 as a daily driver and not been happy
I am very close to buying a 1995 993 as a daily driver. The car has 60K on it.
I have never had a daily driver that didn't have a warranty on it. I am concerned that once I buy the car the motor is going to go, or something major. I will have a PPI done, so should know if something is right Has anyone bought a 993 and used it as a daily driver, was it a good car, I am putting about 30 miles on a day. Am I just paranoid?

Mine is a daily driver.
Bought it with 56K on the odometer. A year later I just rolled over 71K and have loved every minute of it. Love it! Drive it! See this thread for a few photos to get the blood pumping! 993 Damaged -Part II (the recovery)

This was before the current owner, pimped it out to look like a Turbo. He is keeping the tail, and I get the euro Turbo front bumper. Looks like twins Michael

Did you ever respond to the estimates we gave you for the price of the car. Just interested.

89911,
I forgot, so I just posted to it. I am really on the fence on this one, also thinking about a M3, which would have a warranty, but cost me 20K more. Michael

Life's to short to drink cheap beer and grovel around in anything but a Porsche. Especially once you own a porsche, then its very hard to get excited about 95% of other vehicles around. If this is your third porsche you are probably aware of this, so get a good 993 and you'll be happy I would guess.
