SC power windows giving me fits!
I did a search for wiring the switchs. I wired them according to all the posts I found. (they were all the same)
This is what I did. Pass/Pass 1 blu 2 blu/blk 3 r/wh 4 br 5 r/blk driv/pass 1 r/wh 2 r/blk 3 r/blu 4 br 5 r/blu driv/driv 1 blu 2 blu/blk 3 r/blu 4 br 5 r/blu Now this is for a Carrera and my car is an SC. The only difference is the Red/ Blue wire for my car is just red. The windows worked yesterday. I stripped the door panels out then realized the windows have to be up to get the door handles off! For some reason I got the drivers side window up. I cant get the passenger window to go up or down and the drivers side wont come down now??? What happened? Edit: Is there any way to just "jump" the wires to get the window up for now?

Fuse? Or is there one fuse for both sides, I forget?

I think there is just one fuse. Is your wiring layout above, the wiring at the window switch? I just compared yours to mine and they differ somewhat but I need to be sure we are talking about the same location. I'll take pictures if you need. Could it be the regulator? Take the handle of a screwdriver and give it a tap or two.

you can "jump" / drive the window motors by apply + and - to the two wires coming out of each switch that go to the motor. ( Each switch has 5 total....three come from the door and main body and two go to the motor out of the switch). If the window goes down, switch the + / - and they'll go up. A bad ground could be the problem?

We are talking about the back of the switchs. The posts are numbered. The sigle post is #3 the two horizontal ones below it are 1 and 2 and the two vertical ones are 4 and 5. Maybe I did pop the fuse.....I will have to look at that. I did do some "experimenting" before I found the above instructions.

You might just have old worn out switches. If one side works try that same switch on the other side.

Note that to operate the pass side window with the pass side switch OR the pass switch on the drivers side BOTH switches ( that operate the pass side window) need to be connected correctly.
Ask me how I know.. and you can test the switches with any meter that has a continuity tester. Good luck
