1974 R.O.W., What does it mean to me?

My vin decodes as a R.O.W. (rest-of-world) model. Other than the differences in the engine, are there any other things different or interesting about 74 r.o.w. models that I should be aware of?

In '74 there was little difference between US and ROW.

You have a better looking car IMO.

Smaller bumperettes, better looking headlight surrounds (H4's), smaller front indicators.

I think it makes a big difference in the looks department.

OK you want to pic nits?
rear bumper are the same, including the rubber pillows, rear tail lights were amber/clear/red instead of US red/clear/red

US headlights were the sugar scoops(yes, ugly) ROW had the 3D glass version H4 or H1, US had 2 equal size corner lights rather than the single ROW .

US had the option of shock style bumper mounts rather than the 1 time deformable as did the ROW

US targa roof was a 1 piece non folding design std, w/ the older folding style as an option(I never saw the 1 piece in Europe but they may have done that as well)

notable US options were rear stabilizer, front oil cooler, 1.5hp starter, intermittent wipers, + the usual wheel, LSD etc choices. Same wer available ROW

Most S of either persuasion would have been well equipped. there were also reginal variations in equipment, A ROW Brit was equippped a bit differently than a German model.

But as I said all all not much difference and certainly nothing that couldn't have been changed easily over the years.
