What's next?

I have an '84 Carrera Targa 3.2, and so far, I have put on a cup air box cover, removed the a/c, lightened the interior, lowered to euro height, I'm going to install a smaller odyssey battery, then I'm planning on using Georges headers into a Monty dual in single out muffler with no heat and getting a chip burned by steve wong. I also need to install new sliders and syncro rings in the tranny so I want to put in a wevo internal gated shifter. Would it be practical to put in shorter gears while in the tranny? Also, what would be good N/A plans for the motor after all this? A displacement increase is probably a little to costly for me so what options would this leave me with for more power? Obviously cams, but what else other than this? I have heard of twin plug, extrude honing the intake, using a maf, msd ignition, etc. I just need to know some ideas for setups that work well together with my current plans. Thanks!
Tommy

The battery would be way down on my list.

- Kill the heater blower stuff (all 3 of them)
- replace bumper shocks with Euro crush tubes
- got a black spoiler add-on in front? if not, add it
- toss at least the rear bumper for a FG one
- Think about what else you can do to get wt. out of the butt

changing the exhaust + a good chip will give more power
next might be an extrude hone to balance the intakes - prob. best to have that factored into the chip pgm.ing

no need to twin plug unless you are going for higher compression

all the suspension rubber on the car is now 20 years old, and probl. ready to be replaced - decide track or street and proceed accordingly

How old are th rubber brake hoses???

Tommy - before you do anything more, take the car to a track and learn its current baseline, particularly before you cobble it up.

As far as messing with the bumpers: if yours is a street-driven car, you should think about how everyone else behaves on the road when nearby you before you attempt this modification.
