My Euro SC had only one option......auto heating.
Weird, huh?

I agree, remove weight and add HP

72, no A/C, sunroof, power anything, RS bumpers with 3.0/SSI/2in2 Dansk, 915 with 7:31 posi.

The reason I wanted an earlier model was the 1) road feel 2) weight 3) no CA emissions. I did like the almost bulletproof 3.0 and the relative ease of install, so I opted for the 3.0.

It is certainly fast however the combination of the gearing and CIS kinda mean quick shifts and short power bursts than a carbed cammed engine. I am still going to go the route of a supercharger i think cuz the motor has less than 35k and has all the upgrades.

Most people don't appreciate the drive however and so I drive solo a lot and hope to make it out to one of the SF bay area shindigs soon......enjoy the board.

I put or Modify...!

A better Fuel Injection System lets' say "Motronics"

A relayable and better Top for the Targa let's say like the one used in the 914 not the colapsable pis o*&%#$&_)$#!

A real nice AC

A more relayble wiring

Do you mean the short stroke 3.2? If so, yes, this was the only motor modification Porsche sanctioned, but did not directly offer during the 3.0 series.

As was, Porsche believed if a driver couldn't make do with 180 hp., there was something else he or she was doing wrong with the car, like not cornering it correctly, braking, etc. I remember reading this in a R&T review of the 1983 SC.

Many have said these motors have more than enough power. That it's the weight that pins them down, especially with the US cars.
