Weekend plans?

OK so I'm trying to ride out the clock til 4:30 and it looks like a lot of you are too...
so, what are you doing with/to your 911 this weekend? Any cool road trips? Any projects starting or finishing up? I'm just gonna go for a ride (past the F dealer, Motion) Sunday morning and maybe wash/wax. What are you gonna do, where are you gonna go?

We (me and my girlfriend) are driving the 911 from Anchorage down to Seward(red star) this weekend just for the scenery and a nice outing. It's a nice P-car road!

It's going to rain all weekend in Michigan. The 911 will be parked. Probably clean the bugs off the front but that's about it.

I'm gonna try to replace my front ball joints tomorrow, because in a week, I'll be driving it from Austin to Midland.

That vibration in the steering has got to go before I drive 300+ miles one way!

Heck, in Alaska, your route looks like a five day drive. Can you get home before the Indy 500? Sounds like fun.

Is the scenery green there in Alaska yet??? Us in the lower 48 probably think spring is the last week in June, summer is the 4th of July, and fall is the next week, followed by winter in August?!

Will be in the 80's in the Sacramento Valley. Driving with girlfriend and another friend in our P-Cars through the Napa Valley Wine Country via Hwy 128 from Winters to Napa. 30 something miles of undulating twisties.

It's about a 3 hour drive one way and twisty through the National Forest.

Yep, it's very green here. The snow was pretty much gone by the end of March this year. For a good part of April it was warmer here than in much of the East coast of the US.

My investment guy is pretty hardcore into racing and he invited me to take my car out to Motor Sports Ranch on Sunday to "practice" with some of the local Club racers. It will be a good tune-up for the my first Solo DE weekend in two weeks. Since this will be a no instruction event, I'm a little nervous.

Good timing as I just got my new brake cooling ducts delivered yesterday, they'll be going on tomorrow morning.

Can I get an 'Amen' for a great 911 weekend!!

Hey Al,

I'll be there too. Are you going to try to make it to the XXX on Sunday before the caravan to PIR?

Drago,
That sounds great, but I can't make it on Sunday. I have out of town visitors. Saturday afternoon or so only. Hoping the weather will continue to be dry, despite the forecast. I've got to make it down to the XXX one of these days though. Looks like a good crowd.

Al
