I'm driving along today on the...l o n g ........4 mile journey back from work, and was thinking that after completing my engine rebuild how long a 901 tranny lasts?

Without such a reference, perhaps at least rebuilders might know the typical number of miles that a tranny can put out.

If it works without baulking, grinding or whining, it's not time to rebuild yet.

I think both depend greatly on how they have been treated.
