Last I heard you could buy new 996 engines for 15K and new 993 engines for 30K.

Gonna be a great market for water cooled conversions at some point.

Vasek Polak use to have the best deals around on new engines. I remember they had a few new 3.3 turbo engines for $10,000. Thats was about 10 years ago also but still not a bad price back then.

I am kind of curious what a 3.2 drove like fresh off of the lot in 1984. My car has way over 180k and things age with time. But having purchased a new car once in my life, how cool would it have been to buy a Porsche during that time.

For $40K+ Turbo Motor

I will order a NEW 300C SRT-8 and BEAT the turbo (only on the straights of course), then use it as a tow car for my "weak needs replacement engine p-car"

Good luck getting one John. I drove the SRT-8 Magnum yesterday. Tremendous amount of torque, and 425 HP to boot. The car launches from the line and hits 70MPH within seconds. This is a bad ass ride. People can rip on Chrysler all they want but they certainly have some sweet rides to purchase. I have the HEMI powered Magum as my company car and love it!
